Creating wow-factor floral installations is what we do.
From restaurant façades and hotel entrances to shopfronts, terraces, brand events and complete seasonal transformations, we love taking an idea and turning it into something people can’t help but notice.
Since founding Early Hours in 2012, we’ve had the pleasure of working with some incredible restaurants, hotels, venues, brands, private clients and event producers across London, the UK and further afield.
And while flowers will always be at the heart of what we do, we’re definitely not limited by them. Fresh and faux flowers, planting, foliage, lighting, props and all sorts of unexpected materials have made their way into our installations over the years.
No two projects are ever quite the same… and that’s exactly how we like it.
Restaurants, hotels and hospitality spaces have been a huge part of the Early Hours story over the years, and we’ve been lucky enough to work with some incredible names including The Lanesborough, Bluebird Chelsea, 1 Hotel Mayfair, San Carlo, ROAST at Borough Market and German Gymnasium to name a few.
From statement entrances and flower-filled façades to dining rooms, bars and complete venue transformations, we design each installation around the space, its personality and the people experiencing it.
And we love a reason to transform a venue. Valentine’s Day, Easter, Chelsea in Bloom, summer, Halloween and everything through to Christmas – we’ve been incredibly proud to be part of so many installations that have become more than decoration. They’re places people want to visit, photograph, share and experience for themselves.
Some are one-off moments, others change with the seasons and some become part of a venue’s identity year after year. Whatever the brief, we want the finished installation to feel completely at home in its surroundings, while still giving people a reason to stop and look.
From summer terraces overflowing with flowers to outdoor dining spaces designed to look beautiful throughout the season, creating spaces people want to sit in, share and come back to has become a bit of an Early Hours speciality.
But a beautiful terrace also needs to work hard. Outdoor spaces have to cope with changing weather, busy service, watering, maintenance and increasingly long periods of summer heat, so we consider all of that from the very beginning.
Depending on the space and how long the installation needs to last, we can work with hardy evergreen planting, seasonal plants, premium faux flowers and foliage, or a carefully considered combination. This can mean less watering, less day-to-day maintenance and fewer replacements, while still creating the abundant, natural look Early Hours is known for.
From the hottest periods of summer through to cooler, wetter weather, we design around the conditions, the venue and how the space is actually used. The result is an outdoor space with longevity that looks incredible, photographs beautifully and is practical to live with.
Some of our favourite projects start with an unusual brief and the question, “Can you make this happen?” Usually, the answer is yes.
Over the years we’ve worked alongside brilliant brands, agencies, event teams and private clients to bring creativity, theatre and a little Early Hours magic to launches, press events, brand activations, parties, corporate events and high-profile celebrations.
From event flowers and statement centrepieces to immersive backdrops, photo moments and large-scale floral installations, we can transform a venue or bring an entire creative concept to life. Fresh flowers, faux florals, planting, props, lighting and unexpected materials can all become part of the mix.
Whether we’re working from an existing creative brief or starting with the beginnings of an idea, everything is designed specifically for the event, the space and the people experiencing it. Christmas is a pretty big deal at Early Hours. Every year we transform restaurants, hotels, shops, venues and private homes across London and beyond, creating bespoke Christmas installations designed to make an impact from the moment people arrive.
From show-stopping festive façades, entrances and Christmas trees to overflowing garlands, giant bows, bauble ceilings, lighting and completely bespoke props, we create everything from individual statement pieces to full-scale festive transformations.
For our commercial clients, we know Christmas installations need to do more than look beautiful. They need to work around busy venues, last throughout the festive season and create those moments guests want to photograph, share and come back to see.
Sustainability is always part of the conversation too. We work hard to reuse, repurpose and recycle materials wherever possible, and also offer a collection of reusable commercial Christmas wreaths for businesses looking for an Early Hours touch without a full installation.
From the first idea and design through to making, installation and the final finishing touches, our team takes care of it all. Christmas might only come once a year, but we like to make sure it’s remembered.
